Amherst College Salutations Collection
Scope and Contents
The Salutations Collection is comprised of letters of commendation and formal greeting, proclamations and certificates presented to Amherst College on special occasions by other colleges and universities, as well as other cultural institutions. These greetings came to the College on special occasions such as the College's centennial and the inauguration of the college presidents.

There is no restriction on access to the collection for research use. Particularly fragile items may be restricted for preservation purposes. This collection is housed in off-site storage and requires advance notice before use. Please contact Archives and Special Collections.
