Biographical / Historical
William Gooding Hartin (1874-1969) was a member of the Amherst College Class of 1909. After graduation he was the principal and district superintendent of schools, Burlington, Vermont, a representative for D. Appleton & Co., and a manufacturer of gloves and mittens in Gloversville, New York.
