Sub-series B: Death of Orra White Hitchcock - includes W.S. Tyler's funeral oration for Orra White Hitchcock, Our Wife and Mother, and an obituary, "A virtuous woman," from The Congregationalist. Most significant are the condolences written to her husband Edward and her daughters. These letters reflect the high esteem in which Orra White Hitchcock was held by family, friends, and the greater community.
