Publications, photographs, clippings, letters, memorabilia, academic regalia and other materials documenting "Eli" Marsh's career as a soccer coach and professor of Physical Education, chiefly at Amherst College, 1917-1958, but also at Ohio State University, 1915-1917.

Series 1: General - is composed of various material relating to athletics at Amherst College, including newspaper clippings, correspondence, memorabilia, scorebooks, tickets, and other material. This series also includes baseball centennial material and documentation of the early history of athletics at Amherst.

Series 8, Photographs, 1870-present - is composed of photographs and negatives of athletic teams and events as well as individual players. Many of the photographs were taken by official College photographers, although some are amateur snapshots.
