Scope and Contents

Portion of a letter from "Will" to his mother about his activities and the doings of a few acquaintances, but these segments of the letter have been crossed out to leave a long comment about Samuel Bowles V and his work on a rival paper. Will acknowledges the disappointment of Sam's father but hopes he can find some comfort if his son does well. Ruth Baldwin seems to have sent this optimistic letter on to Sam or Beth.
