Includes note from Charles A. Lindbergh and fragment of fabric from the "Spirit of St. Louis" plane. Note reads: "Dec. 25, 1928, Dear Ambassador, I am enclosing a small piece of the original fabric from the Spirit of St. Louis. This was cut away during the removal of the central wing gasoline tank in preparation for the Mexico City flight. With best wishes, Charles A. Lindbergh." Note and fragment in original envelope.
